The Berlin show was bananas. The owner of the venue, a warehouse turned club, was riding his motorbike around while we were setting up. The crowd was really lively, and weren’t bashful about expressing their opinions. More Germany after the jump.I felt right at home in Berlin, lots of familiar sights. My new favorite shop became Bongout. My new favorite Amsterdam Cut&Paste judge who lives in Berlin is Fons Schiedon. A couple days in I discovered that my friend Kyle Bryant was also in Berlin, undertaking a summer-long artist residency. I also found the lord. Kyle introduced me to MYMO, who’s artwork I’d seen at ATM Gallery earlier that day. MYMO is short for MY MONSTERS, and MY MONSTERS is awesome. MYMO gets bonus points for making the above Ice Cream Person. (I hope you find your sketchbook).
