“Warped tour?” you might say, “My little sister went to that”. Well, I saw your little sister beat up ten girls for Mike Posner’s sunglasses. I also saw bands I really like, including the almighty Andrew WK. As the weather switched from heinously-hot to wet-n’-wild, I had the pleasure of catching The Bouncing Souls, Four Year Strong, and Alkaline Trio . Met up with pals at Keep-A-Breast for a quick little painting jam. They’ll be using those letters as part of a retail display. Made it into the amphitheater, along with 10,000 other kids, to avoid the rain and catch The Casualties, and Sum 41 for a little Warped Tour throwback power-hour. Then straight back into the rain to wrap up the night with Twitter’s favorite Party Guy. Andrew WK, who had the best t-shirt of the tour (hello kitty nosebleed), made it clear that when he gets wet, he parties harder. Accompanied by his viking band and lady-leotard aerobics instructor, Mr WK lead the crowd in the day’s largest circle-pit, and relieved his prototype bobble head figure. Even if you don’t understand what “crabcore” is, I highly recommend Warped Tour. Forever. Seriously.
