Wu-Tang Clan

This was made just before the release of the 8 Diagrams album. The imagery, like the title, is derived from the 8 Diagram Pole Fighter Kung-Fu flick. I should have made some Kat Von D drawings and threw his logo on them. That would have grabbed his attention.

Jay-Z

I was commissioned to create graphics for Jay Z’s Heart of the City tour with Mary J Blige. The request was for more rock n’ roll type stuff, rather than his traditional Rocawear graphics. I wanted to capitalize on “the roc hands” and classic looking Brooklyn buildings. Jay Z reprinted the designs again for Blueprint 3 tour.
