Cloud Kid office Mural

I had the pleasure of adorning Cloud Kid Studio‘s new office walls with a mess of fun characters. They do terrific animated work, such as Fizzy’s Lunch Lab on PBS!

I was asked to make some merch for the Bosstones‘ annual Hometown Throwdown. Inspired by the “Graffiti worth reading” track off their Pin Points and Gin Joints album.

Spent the morning with some of my favorite Boston illustrators! Here are some collaborations between me and Fish McGill, Tofu Squirrel, Dave Schlafman, and Evoker. Continue reading

Mass Market 6 is this Sunday in Boston! neat flyer.

Got asked to make a couple flyers.
First show is with Larry and His Flask, and Dead Ellington at Cafe 939 this Saturday.
Other show is at Great Scott in July, and features Girlfriends, Doomstar!, and Four Eyes.

Tonight is reception for THE KRAMPUS ART SHOW in 127 Essex Street, Salem, MA at Fool’s Mansion. A group of artists reflect on the dark servant of St. Nicholas, who delivers threats instead of treats. The show will be up all December.

The MassArt double header will take place Sunday December 13th. Kicking off with the 5th annual Mass Market “d.i.y. craft fair”, a day of festive music, vegan cupcakes, weird nick-knacks, and silly art. Followed by an evening of strange music, designed partially to get you out of your pants, and partially melt your face off… Yeah, I made the flyers.

Friday December 11th, is the opening reception of POST THIS at Space 242, a group show exhibiting gig-posters from the past two decades. Another great line-up featuring Boston’s favorite illustrators and designers. The show will be up all month, be sure to stop by.
Made this at the request of Boston punk band Darkbuster. Looking forward to seeing them in a couple weeks with The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
I contributed a new Black Moth Super Rainbow post on Imposemagazine.com Continue reading

As an alumni of the 2007 Digital Design Tournament Cut&Paste, I had to get involved when I heard it was returning to Boston in 09. I synced up with my friend Kristen, and scored the title of Design Ambassador for the event. Which ment we were responsible for assembling all the calls for talent, test rounds, judges, themes, and comunity outreach. Quite the responsibility, but absolutely worth it. It was great to feel out the Boston Design scene, both emerging and professional. In the photo above, Chris Piascik, Dan “Props” Amalbert, Kyle Brandse, and Matt W. Moore addressing the crowd.
